Interactivity
- Data>information>knowledge>wisdom
- The amount of control the audience has over the tools or content, the amount of choice this choice offers and the ability to use the tool to be productive or create.
Summary:
Interactive design is in everyday life and has its roots deeply embedded in the products programs and other tools we use. It is more complex and thoughtful then simply placing buttons and letting the users(consumers) decide what to do. It is thoroughly thought out and designed based on user experience and how they perceive objects and programs from an interactive design point. There are many forms of design similar to interactive design, such as film and tv shows. Games are apart of interactive design
Reflection:
Through this lecture pod detailing a brief introduction of interactive design I learned a lot about the detail and importance of interactive design within both the design world and the world itself. A varying amount of important words that I did not know that were brought up in the video relating to interactive design I learned about through further research. I learned the key concepts and ideas behind interactive design which in turn has peaked my interest in it and further research will be carried out to learn more about it.
